The second period saw the Sharks extend their advantage to three with counters from Struan Tonnar (26:48) assisted by Joe Coulter and Kim Miettinen and then Jordan Buesa (39:50) assisted by Struan Tonnar.
In the final session Juraj Senko (44:48) unassisted made the score four-nil before Elliot Farrell (49:06) netted a consolation goal for the home side.
