The home side refused to buckle and took the lead again forty-three seconds later when Aaron Davies (22:40) found the net. The Blackburn stalwart was a constant thorn in the Sharks side and picked up his second and third assists of the night as firstly Jozef Istocy (36:15) and then Nicholas Oliver (38:35) gave the Hawks a four-one lead by the second intermission.
Solway began the final period on the front foot and Juraj Senko (42:39) gave the travelling support when he score after being set up by Marc Fowley and Stuart Kerr. Jozef Istocy (50:46) completed his hat trick mid-way through the final period with a solo effort. While Stevie Moore (53:27) gave the Sharks faithful hope when he converted from Joe Coulter and Juraj Senko Aaron Davies (53:52) was instantly on hand to restore the home sides three goal advantage with what proved to be the last scoring action of the night.
